What can you eat with braces?
When you first get braces, your mouth may feel sore, so it’s best to stick to soft foods like oatmeal, scrambled eggs, soups, pasta, soft vegetables, mashed potatoes, yogurt, and ice cream. Avoid hard, sticky, or crunchy foods that can damage braces, such as hard candy, popcorn, nuts, sticky candy, crunchy raw vegetables, and hard bread. Instead, cut your food into small, manageable pieces, chew gently, and opt for softer textures when possible.
